It's Your Space

When you have been around as long as we have, you see as many styles of landscaping as there are personalities you meet. I have learned to bend to clients individual styles, sometimes at the expense of what looks good to me. Sometimes people don't know what looks good or what will fit together in a cohesive way.

garden spacesEverybody has a personality. I consider it my job and my mission to bring out as much of my client's personality and taste by using what I know about landscape design.

A picture is worth 1,000 words. Spend some time perusing through gardening magazines and clip out pictures of gardens that you like. We can help you find resources to look at paver styles and colors, wall block or stone online or through product brochures.

Maybe there is a tree nearby that you really like, or a neighbor's patio layout or pool area that impresses you. Have you traveled to other parts of the world and falling in love with old world style? Let's look at that, and see if we can replicate it right in your own back yard!

Spend some quiet time walking around your yard. Where do you feel the most secure? If you can imagine a few trees, waterfallssome flowerbeds and running water, don't sweat the details! Just dream it and we will design it.

After your space has been built, be sure to put statuary, comfortable seating, and items of a personal nature into your space.

The little things are important in your space. A simple birdfeeder can bring life to your garden. The right flowers can attract hummingbirds. Those ugly little painted rocks your children made for you 20 years ago are beautiful reminders of the important things in life. Fill your space with these important things and visit often!
